This is my first post to this forum. I am the 2010 Poinciana Relay For Life Chairperson and I just wanted to extend an invitation to all businesses and clubs within Poinciana to join our cause this year. Our fund raising efforts support Cancer research - and many of us have been touched in some way by this dreadful disease. The Relay for Life is a fun community event that lasts for eighteen hours - last year we held it at Poinciana's Liberty High School on May 8-9, 2009.
Our Early Bird Team Registration will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Poinciana Community Center beginning at 6:00 p.m. If you have a team, or just want to get more involved as an individual, please join us. Dinner will be provided. More information can be found at our web page at www.relayforlife.org/poincianafl. All attendees will have the opportunity to vote on the Relay Theme that we will use for next year's program. The actual date of the Relay has not yet been finalized. Check our website in a few weeks.
